Blessings

One of the greatest joys of my life is being able to share in the lives of some very special kids. My kids have been a part of my life for almost 7 years  - wow, time does fly! - and I love them all more each day. In their own ways, they have also shown such joy in our adoption journey. I hold them all very close to my heart and I cannot wait until Maelyn can meet them all.

Bryanna & Cassidy's beautiful artwork - it is very special to us! As was sharing our news and pictures with Julia!

Our new friend, Emily, took the time to make us a beautiful card!! I was so surprised and touched when she gave it to me. It was also signed by Kelly & Darlene. This card will be safely kept as a momento for Maelyn. We love it!

One of my students that I had in my class two years in a row gave this to Paul and I last year - so sweet!

Two wonderful ladies from Mattamy gave us one of our first gifts for our little one - a beautiful music box.

Good friends of ours, Matt & Kelly, gave us a ton of clothes that their girls have outgrown. It was soooo much fun being able to go through all the clothes!

So cute!

We had the privilege of meeting and becoming good friends with Leanne & Joad during out AdopTalk seminar. They are adopting through the same program and are going through many of the same experiences. Today, we received a book about Chinese adoptions and a beautiful card from them. It touched us deeply and we are looking forward to our kids becoming friends as well! :)

Paul and I are very blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. We cannot tell you how much the phone calls, emails, texts, calls, and overall enthusiasm about our adoption journey has meant to us. We love you all!

I love love love baby and toddler things. Better get you into that new house very soon so that you will have room for all the goodies coming Maelyn's way!

love the new ladybug look on the blog -- Julia and I are delighted to share in this journey with you and Paul -- who would have thought that from Gr. 11 English to now - our lives are entwined - -it's so the red thread at work.

We think of Maelyn as our "baby sister"!
