Paul and I decided that we wouldn't go crazy Boxing Day shopping. Firstly, Paul can't really get around, which makes things a little difficult. Secondly, anything we buy, we have to move! Lastly, I ended up getting my annual Christmas cold - and it started near the end of Christmas day.
My teacher friends can sympathize - I ALWAYS get sick once the holidays start. The moment I let myself relax, the cold hits with full force. This year, I didn't really stop until Christmas day - hence the cold waited to hit until that evening. I haven't been sick in ages, but I am not impressed with this cold - I don't have time to be sick! I have to pack, as we are moving in two weeks - and Paul is still out of commission. We also missed a family get-together tonight because of this cold - but I am tired and didn't want to spread my germs!
Oh well - enough ranting. Back to the shopping we did do on Boxing Day. We purchased the central vac system for the new house. The store we have purchased from in the past always has good deals on Boxing Day. We also purchased bathroom stuff for Maelyn's bathroom and for our master bathroom.
Other than that, our Boxing Day was uneventful. Hope you all got the shopping deals that you wanted! :)
