We had a quiet and relaxing Christmas. We started off the day at Paul's parents house, as we normally do - with a HUGE brunch!
Paul's Mom with her famous sugar plum loaf - yummy! A favourite Christmas tradition.
Paul's Dad - enjoying our Christmas brunch!
Paul's brother - handing out the gifts...
We had a wonderful morning together and we always enjoy the time we get to spend with Paul's family.
In the afternoon we headed to my sister's place for Christmas dinner. As a tradition, my sister and I are the ones who prepare dinner - and this year was no exception. Kara is famous for her gravy and it first it didn't turn out well at all - but she just wouldn't give up! In the end, the dinner was fabulous - the gravy included!
My Dad and Cam - getting ready to eat our fabulous dinner! :)
My sister's mother-in-law and Paul
After dinner we relaxed, stuffed ourselves with desserts and treats, and watched a movie. It was, however, a horrible movie! Has anyone ever seen 'Four Christmases?' If not, don't bother!!
We are also really looking forward to Christmas next year, when we can celebrate with Maelyn. Our family cannot wait to spend Christmas with it's newest member.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
