After a very long journey, they finally received the news they have been dreaming about - they have a daughter! Their daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate - her lip has already been repaired, just like Maelyn.

We are so thrilled for our friends! When I received the news, I was in tears - it was a feeling of complete elation and excitement! It was almost as exciting as our own referral day. :)
Tears come again when I think of Maelyn and Ceana meeting and spending time with one another. Our girls will experience many milestones together and we cannot wait to enjoy all of them, together!
This little girl is already growing in our hearts. We cannot wait to hold her and welcome her into our family. We love you very much, Ceana!

this is great news -- I know how special Julia's connection is to her China sister and how precious my connection is to the China moms -- this is more important than you even know right now that you have this connection with Ceana and her parents -- so important for you and Paul to have someone who is going through the very same journey as you are.
