Waiting....still waiting...

Okay....I have to get it off my chest - waiting SUCKS!!! As you can tell, we have yet to receive our LOA.
The following is a summary of what has been going on over the past week...

Our agency called and emailed the Ontario Ministry early last week - but did not get a response. By Thursday, L and I had had enough - I ended up contacting our MPP, Mr. Frank Klees, in the hope that he could help to push things along. I spoke with a woman in his office early in the morning, not expecting to hear anything from his office until this week. I was pleasantly surprised, however, when I heard back from them later that day! Mr. Klees himself had contacted the Ministry to try and get our paperwork moving - he even got the name and number of someone at the Ministry for me to contact.

Needless to say, that is the first thing I did this morning. I got in touch with a worker at the Ministry and she confirmed that they are now working on our file - way to go, Mr. Klees! We are now waiting....and hoping that all goes well with the approval. We are crossing our fingers that we hear something this week. Always hoping....

This process has been incredibly difficult. I cannot believe the level of anxiety I have been experiencing over the past two weeks - it has been torture! I feel physically ill every day, I have trouble concentrating on everyday tasks...I need the waiting to be over!! Poor L receives about ten calls a day from me - but the calls are helping me to keep it together, even just a little bit! Poor Paul - he has had to put up with me over the past few weeks. Although, he is even starting to get frustrated at the delay - so it must be bad!
