Just when I was so tense that I thought I wouldn't make it through one more moment of waiting, a student of mine brought laughter back into my day...
A student in my Grade 4 Social Studies class is constantly asking me questions about adoption and our child. Today, he stopped me again to ask another burning question - "When you get your baby, will you GO there to get him or will he be SHIPPED here?" Trying to stifle my laughter, I told him and that my husband and I would be traveling to China to meet our son or daughter. Apparently he was very relieved by this answer, as he responded, "Oh good! I wondered how he was going to fit into a box that was big enough!"
Hahahahahahaha!! Too funny!
