Tuesday's Events

Yesterday morning I walked Paul to work and then I picked out a bike from the hotel to use during our stay here. The only problem was that it was the MOST uncomfortable bike I have ever ridden!

I rode to the train station to try and figure out the pricing of some of our day/weekend trips. There was only one person there who spoke some English and the poor man had to deal with me all morning. I was trying to figure out how to use their automated machines properly and I must have gone back to ask him questions about ten different times!

The ride home was also very uncomfortable...so much so that I decided to switch bikes last night. Paul and I chose different bikes - we had to pump the tires and raise/lower the seats - but in the end, the bikes are now much better!

Paul and I were both really feeling the effects of the time change yesterday...we were both very tired. I spent part of the morning reading on the terrace and after that, had a two hour nap! At least I am learning to relax! We had an early night last night and we both feel much better today.

This morning Paul and I rode our bikes to his work. I am going on a bike ride this morning with the wife and daughter of one of Paul's colleagues....I will be taking pictures of Erlangen and will post those. Sorry - no pics of my low-key day yesterday....although one of me ironing would have been cute! Hehehe!
