Paul and I received some updated news from Children's Bridge. It looks like we will be officially on the 'active list' around the middle to end of June. That means that we will probably have our referral around October and travel next April or May.
We have started our homestudy with our social worker and will most likely complete it by June. We will also be attending our PRIDE training at the end of May, beginning of June.
I think that perhaps this whole waiting thing is a big lesson for me.....because I am terrible at it!! Once we made up our mind to adopt, the wait went from 'only 2 years' to 'how long???!!!!' Haha....waiting goes entirely against my personality and it's ability to cope! Poor Lianne....always having to take 'panic' calls from me! Hehehe....

Believe me -- the waiting will all be forgotten once your baby is here -- then there will be different kind of waiting -- Like waiting for the baby to nap so you can nap or have a shower :) and that will be all worth it too.
so this time next year for Easter -- you'll be celebrating with your little one! Can't wait.
