It is all beginning to feel very real....

After the gentle nudging of my good friend, Lianne, I finally contacted an adoption practitioner to get our home study started. I can't believe that we are finally moving forward and getting something accomplished...woohoo! Thanks for the referral, Lianne! :)

I am actually excited about our home study...I mean, we get to talk about ourselves for two hours each visit with the social worker....what could make me happier?!

I also sent off an email to register for PRIDE Training (a course that each prospective adoptive parent must complete). It is all starting to feel so real!!
